Oh, I don't Hate Classical Music.

So it turns out that I actually like Classical music ( I have been known to say I hated it.) What I actually hated was Beethoven. A bit of a difference, aye? :0
Classical music - is wonderful, I have discovered. It was a lifesaver during the throws of NaNoWriMo - effectivly blocking out background noises and making writing more possible, if it didn't improve the content. ;) And it's fun to play - like, really, really fun to play. My violin has had more work these last few weeks then it has all year!
So I ask of you - what pieces would you suggest to a person who was rediscovering Classical music? I've put a few together that I really like, but still - what would you suggest?

Enjoy!

*Cringes at the Beethoven-lovers glares* (But I still don't like Beethoven. I mean, really, really, really dislike him :) )

Gasp! You don't like Beethoven?! Come on the Moonlight Sonata and 5th Symphony are amazing! :-)

As for suggestions... I love Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel and Ave Maria by Charles Gounod is always pretty.

Hard to say for sure. I personally LOVE anything Beethoven. :D (ok, shoot me)
Anything Tchaikovsky is usually good, Brahms is awesome as well. Handel and Haydn are good as well.

Handel, Bach, and Canon in D by Pachebel. Not to mention Vivaldi.
I don't like Beethoven either. :) It seems that the worldviews of the composers are put forth in their music.
